Terms and Conditions
“Azul Guesthouse” or “we” is a Moroccan company registered under the name AZUL GUEST HOUSE SARL.
“The clientele” applies to all persons who have or will have booked and will benefit from the services under the conditions of AZUL Guesthouse.
Insurance
The client, by their own responsibility, must be in good health and fit to practice surfing, yoga, and all other activities organized by Azul Guesthouse. If there are any medical problems, allergies, or any other factors that may affect the ability to participate in an activity, the client must inform Azul Guesthouse before or upon arrival.
Although we do our best to take care of you during your stay at Azul Guesthouse, clients are responsible for taking care of their own health, and it is strongly recommended that clients take out comprehensive travel insurance for the entire duration of their stay in Morocco, including sports (surfing). Clients must listen carefully to the instructions of the surf and yoga instructors. This is for the safety of the client and others.
We will give you advice to avoid injuries, but clients also accept that accidents may happen during the session and that Azul Guesthouse is in no way responsible for injuries, death, or loss or damage to property. It is the responsibility of clients to avoid sunstroke by drinking plenty of drinking water (not tap water), applying sunscreen, and wearing hats and sunglasses.
Azul Guesthouse offers optional insurance for surf equipment at the rate of €5 per day. This insurance protects users against costs related to damage that may occur during their stay.
This insurance is only valid for standard equipment, including:

Foam boards.

Standard hard boards such as TORQ and NSP, intended for intermediate surfers.

Surf wetsuits provided by Azul Guesthouse.
What the insurance covers

Impacts on the board requiring standard repair.

Breakage or loss of fins.
-
Breakage or loss of leash.
-
Wear or small tears on the wetsuit.
What the insurance does not cover
-
Complete breakage of the board.
-
Irreparable folding of the board.
-
Damage caused by improper use.

Major damage to the wetsuit.
Conditions of application

Insurance is only valid for surf equipment provided by Azul Guesthouse, within the categories mentioned above.

Damage will be assessed by the Azul Guesthouse team to determine whether it falls under minor or major repairs.

In case of damage not covered by the insurance, the client will have to pay for the full repair or replacement of the equipment.
Subscription Terms

Insurance is optional but highly recommended to avoid unexpected expenses.

The insurance rate is €5 per day, payable at the beginning of the stay.

If the client chooses not to subscribe to the insurance, they accept full responsibility for any damage to the equipment.
Disclaimer of Liability
Azul Guesthouse declines all responsibility in the event of:

Loss or theft of equipment.

Non-compliance with the instructions given by the team.
Refund Policy
Although Azul Guesthouse does its best to bring clients to the best surfing spots, we are not responsible for surf conditions. In rare cases where surf conditions are not suitable, such as flat days, rain, or wind, clients should not request a refund for surfing, yoga, or any other activity provided or organized by Azul Guesthouse.
However, we will offer alternative activities such as stand-up paddleboarding, hiking, skateboarding, film screenings, and cultural excursions.
Azul Guesthouse offers no refunds in the case of client illness or health problems before or during their stay. These circumstances fall under the client’s personal responsibility, but we commit to doing our best to propose alternative activities.
Azul Guesthouse cannot be held responsible for flight delays or cancellations. No refund or reservation modification will be granted.
If a guest behaves irresponsibly/meanly/violently towards equipment, accommodation, or people, Azul Guesthouse has the right to ask them to leave immediately without a refund. In this case, it is Azul Guesthouse’s decision whether a refund may be granted.
If a guest causes difficulties or acts unkindly towards another client or a staff member, Azul Guesthouse reserves the right to immediately ask the person to leave without a refund. If a guest damages material or objects belonging to Azul Guesthouse or its partners, the client must pay the full amount for replacement or repair.
Changes to Your Bookings
Once a booking is confirmed, no modification of the stay (dates, schedules, booked activities, or packages) will be possible. The full amount due for the stay will be required upon arrival, according to the terms of the initial booking.
It is unlikely that we will need to make changes to your holiday, but occasionally minor changes may occur, which Azul Guesthouse reserves the right to make at any time. Most of these changes are minor, and we will inform you as soon as possible. It will be of an equal or superior level, chosen by Azul Guesthouse as appropriate accommodation. Azul Guesthouse will do its best to inform you of any changes to your accommodation before your arrival.
If there is a change in the exchange rate between the time of booking and the time of payment upon arrival at Azul Guesthouse, we reserve the right to adjust the amount of payment.
Holiday Cancellation by the Client
If you are forced to cancel your booking, either in full or in part, you must immediately notify Azul Guesthouse in writing. Below is the scale that determines if your holiday is refundable:

Cancellation more than 6 weeks before the arrival date: loss of 30% of the stay price (deposit).

Cancellation 4–6 weeks before the arrival date: loss of 75% of the stay price.

Cancellation less than 4 weeks before the arrival date: loss of 100% of the stay price.
Interruption of Stay
In the event of early departure for any reason, no unused portion of the stay will be refunded. We recommend that you take out travel insurance that covers potential stay interruptions.
Transfer of Booking
If you or a member of your group is unable to travel, you may transfer your booking to another person provided that:

The replacement meets the conditions of the stay,

We are informed at least 7 days before the arrival date,

The full balance is paid, along with a change fee of €50 per person,

The replacement accepts our terms and conditions.
You remain jointly responsible for full payment. If no replacement is found, the applicable cancellation fees will apply. No refund will be granted for unused services.
Holiday Cancellation by Azul Guesthouse
Azul Guesthouse reserves the right, under any circumstances, to cancel your holiday.
However, we will not cancel your holiday less than 8 weeks before the scheduled departure date, except for reasons of “force majeure,” which include war, political unrest, strikes, acts of God, epidemics, natural and technical disasters, and the closure of ports and airports.
In cases where we are unable to provide the holiday you booked, we will refund all payments made or offer you the option to reschedule your stay with us.
Single Room Policy
Single room bookings are possible depending on availability, but clients opting for a surf package have priority. During high season (Christmas and New Year period), we do not accept single room bookings without a package.
Surf Guiding Policy
Surf Guiding is intended for autonomous and experienced surfers, capable of surfing independently without assistance. The guide mainly accompanies you to the best spots and may sometimes stay on the beach without entering the water. If we deem that your level does not allow you to surf safely on your own, we reserve the right to direct you towards a more suitable option, such as Surf School.
High Season Policy
During the holiday season, only bookings including one of our surf packages, for a minimum stay of 7 nights, will be accepted.
Accuracy of Information
We strive to ensure the accuracy of the information and prices displayed on our website and in our communications. However, errors or adjustments may occur. We reserve the right to correct prices and information at any time. Please check updated details and prices at the time of your booking.
Personal Belongings, Lost, Stolen, or Broken Equipment
Our team is very attentive to your safety in and out of the water. We commit to doing our best to guide you to safe surf spots and locations. Clients acknowledge that it is their responsibility to take care of their valuables.
Azul Guesthouse accepts no responsibility for clients’ personal belongings in the event of breakage or theft. We recommend taking care of your valuables. If a surfboard/wetsuit or any item belonging to Azul Guesthouse is damaged by a client, Azul Guesthouse is entitled to claim reimbursement from the client for repair or replacement.
Azul Guesthouse will explain and show clients how to properly care for the equipment.
Use of Images and Image Rights
By participating in a stay organized by Azul Guesthouse, each guest agrees that photographs and/or videos taken during the stay may be used for commercial purposes, including for communication and promotion on:
• The Azul Guesthouse website
• Azul Guesthouse social media platforms
• Marketing materials of our distributors and business partners
If a guest wishes to object to the use of their image, they must explicitly inform Azul Guesthouse before or during the stay.
Use of Images and Image Rights
By participating in a stay organized by Azul Guesthouse, each guest agrees that photographs and/or videos taken during the stay may be used for commercial purposes, including for communication and promotion on:
• Azul Guesthouse’s website
• Azul Guesthouse’s social media accounts
• Marketing materials of our distributors and business partners
If a guest wishes to oppose the use of their image, they must expressly inform Azul Guesthouse before or during the stay.
Right of Withdrawal – Services
In accordance with Law No. 31-08 on consumer protection, any client who has entered into a distance contract (online, by phone, etc.) has a period of 7 calendar days from the acceptance of the offer to withdraw, without needing to provide justification or pay penalties.
Conditions for Exercising the Right of Withdrawal

The withdrawal period is respected if the request is sent before the expiration of the 7-day period.
Legal Exclusions
The right of withdrawal does not apply:

If the execution of the service has begun before the end of the withdrawal period.

If the service has been fully performed before the expiration of the withdrawal period.

In the case of personalized services or those tailored to the client’s specific needs.
Refund
In the case of a valid withdrawal:
The client will be refunded within a maximum period of 15 days from the receipt of the request.
The refund will cover only the amounts actually received by Azul Guesthouse, excluding banking fees, payment commissions, or processing fees.
If return, cancellation, or processing fees are incurred, they remain the responsibility of the client.
Bank Fees and Payment Methods
Commissions charged by payment intermediaries (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, money transfer services) are non-refundable, unless a full refund is technically possible via the same payment method.
Fees Related to Payment Methods
Bank fees or commissions applied by payment intermediaries (such as PayPal, bank transfers, or other similar services) are the exclusive responsibility of the client. The total amount due must be paid in full, net of any banking or transfer fees.
If fees are deducted during payment, the client agrees to settle the outstanding balance upon arrival to ensure that the total amount due is fully received.
